Tuinhier vzw, an association that groups passionate gardeners, was given a cutting at the 35° edition of the floralies. An installation in the courtyard at Wereld van Kina, near Sint-Pietersplein in Ghent got the daylight thanks to a group of enthusiasts from Microtuinen vzw. The gardener's identity, unique as a barcode formed the basis of the concept. An exquisite concept in which the identity of the garden lover 2.0 comes to the fore: the garden as utility space, the garden as beauty but above all a refuge for nature. Secretly, this identity is also the identity of many of Green-YD's builders, with a passion for nature, an eye for beauty and a pragmatic approach where the garden is a real living space.

Tuinhier vzw, een vereniging die gepassioneerde tuinders groepeert, kreeg een stekje op de 35° editie van de floraliën. Een installatie op het binnenplein aan de Wereld van Kina, nabij het Sint-Pietersplein in Gent kreeg het daglicht dankzij een groep enthousiastelingen van Microtuinen vzw. De tuinder zijn identiteit, uniek als een barcode vormde de basis van het concept. Een uitgelezen concept waarin de identiteit van de tuinliefhebber 2.0 naar voor komt: de tuin als nutsruimte, de tuin als beauty maar vooral een refuge voor natuur. Stiekem is die identiteit ook de identiteit van vele bouwheren van Green-YD, met passie voor natuur, oog voor schoonheid en een pragmatische invulling waar de tuin een echte leefruimte vormt.
